A Custom-tier, multi-page site for a small Adelaide Hills studio — yoga, mobility and strength, taught in classes of nine or fewer. It needed the full custom toolkit: a live timetable, class booking, a membership join flow, a members-only on-demand library, events, and a journal.

An earlier build had drifted to an electric-lime, SaaS-startup look that read like an energy-drink app. For a studio whose whole promise is calm, the site was fighting the brand.

The redesign had to feel grounded and restorative — eucalypt country, breathing room — while still carrying a lot of functional surface (schedules, bookings, memberships) without clutter.

Structure in the content; calm in the mood:

  • A new "Eucalypt" palette — cream, muted sage, and a single deep-sage working accent, with clay used for under ten percent (one underline, one urgency cue).
  • The neon lime removed entirely — where the studio wanted more energy, the answer was contrast and weight, never more saturation.
  • Fraunces with its ornate axes flattened to zero — calm display character, italics as quiet emphasis, even the class times set in it.
  • Hanken Grotesk for everything functional, so the type does the heavy lifting quietly.
  • A live "today's timetable" card on the hero, a day-tab schedule, a dark members-only on-demand block, plus events and journal routes.

A multi-route Custom build — classes, membership, a members-only on-demand library, events, journal, about and contact — with booking / RSVP and a join flow, on a system calm enough to match what the studio sells. Contrast verified to WCAG 2.1 AA on every pairing, with a perfect 100 on Lighthouse best-practices and SEO.
